Olympian Adam Rippon finally gets to meet Sally Field's son after her matchmaking attempt
When things are destined to be, they will happen any which way and in this case, all it needed was a motherly push in the right direction.
Olympic figure skater, Adam Rippon, finally got to meet Sally Field's son at a gala which took place in Los Angeles just weeks after the actress tried to publicly set them up via Twitter. Sally Field's son, Sam Greisman, posted a picture of him with his arm around the Olympic medallist and captioned the picture, " Thanks, mom".

Field helped reveal her son's crush on the Olympian on Twitter. This follows a picture that Greisman had posted of a text message between him and his mother which showed Sally telling him, "he’s insanely pretty. Find a way." Field is yet to comment or respond to the two young lovers finally meeting.

Adam Rippon became a newfound national treasure after competing at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in South Korea where he earned a bronze medal for his participation in the US team figure skating team. He was even honored at the 2018 Human Rights Campaign Gala Dinner.
This was after he was recognized as the first openly gay US male figure skater to take part in the Olympic games. HRC President Chad Griffin says, "One word best describes Adam Rippon — fierce. By being out and proud, Adam is bringing LGBTQ visibility to a whole new level while capturing the hearts of millions around the world with his incredible talent and personality. He isn’t afraid to use his global platform to speak out for equality, and we are proud to honor him."
Many fans and well-wishers were delighted when the two star-crossed lovers were finally able to meet and took to Twitter to share their reactions and good wishes. People were very supportive of the two men and were glad that they finally crossed paths. When Greisman shared the photograph of him and Rippon, people were very happy.
